Hair oil is a nourishing hair care staple designed to hydrate dry strands, tame frizz and flyaways, and seal the hair cuticle to lock in moisture. It also adds natural shine, protects hair from heat styling and environmental damage, and softens coarse or damaged hair—suitable for all hair types, with lightweight formulas for fine hair and richer blends for thick, curly locks.

Hair essential oil works on both wet and dry hair, with different benefits: apply to damp, towel-dried hair to seal in hydration post-wash and reduce heat damage when styling. Use a small amount on dry hair for on-the-go frizz control, shine boost, or to smooth split ends—avoid over-applying to prevent a greasy finish, focusing on mid-lengths to ends instead of the scalp.

Yes, leaving hair oil in overnight is a highly effective deep conditioning treatment (often called an oil mask). Apply a generous amount of nourishing oil (e.g., argan, coconut, jojoba) to dry hair, focus on damaged ends, and cover with a shower cap. Rinse it out the next morning with shampoo—this deeply penetrates the cuticle to repair dry, over-processed hair and boost softness.

For most hair types, use hair oil 2-3 times a week—either as a post-wash leave-in or a pre-wash treatment. Oily/scalp-prone hair only needs a tiny amount (1-2 drops) on dry ends 1-2 times weekly to avoid greasiness. Thick, dry, curly or color-damaged hair benefits from daily light application or weekly overnight oil masks to maintain hydration and reduce breakage.
